never hear of them ...
but I didn;t see anything on the site that'd lead me to believe they're any different than any other ceramic out there ....
Any cause for concerns here?

Since they seem a little pricey...about $8/sf...I would like to know how durable they really are and if anyone has used or seen this product brand. Since these are a floating floor design and the install would be very simple as opposed to the real thing, I'm very interested in them. My cabinet supplier carries them and my DW likes the look of Terra Cotta.
They do offer a 25 yr warranty for fade, stain, wear, and moisture damage. But, in business since 78', and stateside since 96' also leaves me wondering. I would think 7 or 8 yrs in this country would be sufficient time to become somewhat established, yet I've been unable to get any feedback other than from my supplier and one of his employees. They both have this product in their homes. I've thought of asking him about any previous sales and to whom, but not sure it would be prudent to bother people about looking at their kitchen floor and asking how well they were satisfied.
IIRC, you do tile install, right? A bad day at home is still better than a good day at work
I musta misread their site ...
I took it to read they sold floating floor ...
and regular old ceramic tile?
Stick down with thinset type ...
Sounds like they have a product that's a laminate "wood flooring".... that comes in 12 x 12 sizes ... or so ... to give the tile look with the floating application.
My fault.

Yeah it's a laminate...treated coreboard with a simulated ceramic look/feel. Some type of composite. Solid product, not a light weight...about 3/8 thick. Do you know if laminated ceramic tile is made by anyone else? A bad day at home is still better than a good day at work
I think most laminate manufacturers make a square board now ...
Pretty sure Wilsonart does ...
I'll look around.
Just installed Wilsonart TapNLock for the first time ... was really impressed with the stuff. It's supposed to be a semi "disposable" floor in the current customers "weight/work-out room" ... which might become an inlaw suite in a coupla years ...
Also worked with another brand I'd never used for the main areas ... BR-111 ...
Wow .. that BR-111 makes some pretty stuff! That again was engineered ... more of a thin solid hardwood ... egde glued .. like the first pergo's ...

I'll see if I come across anything else.

So the laminated ceramic version is available from other manufactures, that's good to hear. I saw that Wilsonart does make something similar. Thanks for the link.
Since my cabinets won't be in for a few weeks, I still have time to decide which flooring I'll use. If you do come across any others, please let me know.
Thanks A bad day at home is still better than a good day at work
