Looking forward to using this forum a lot. As a up and coming DIY who is now turning our garage into a workshop,Iam looking to get some handy shop charts or posters for the walls for reference information. I find that books just are not that practical in the shop. Does anybody have information as where to get these free or purchased. Many Thanks woodplane

we got a store that mainly just sells to school teachers. pencils, etc. They had some in there one time. I like the one that convert fractions to decimals and convert temperture..
check out this old house mag. they have sent me posters for subscibing .
If you're looking for handy formulas, etc., then a teacher's supply might be just the ticket.
If you're thinking about conversion tables (3/16 = 0.1875 sort of thing) or "End Stile Dado = 0.1565 w/ 13/16" Dado[shy]", that might want fooling with a spreadsheet or graphics program. Then taking that down to the local print shop to see what they can do for you in large-format printing.
I've got a couple of signed 'Makita Girls' posters I'd part with in trade -
if you are near a college, posters of scantily clad humans are easily obtainable -
here's a great place to buy posters - http://www.northernsun.com/
Maybe contact some of the router bit companies and see if the they profile poster available...that would be cool.
hmmm...maybe I will do that myself!
Our friend, Steve has some nice Seirra Nevada Brewery posters in his shop.
good luck!
