I got a couple of the metal chaulk boxes. cannot remember the brand but its the common type. I have lost the ends to both. Where can I buy new ends, the type that clips onto plywood.

hey brown,,,, you probably have new ends in your truck right now, just snip a little piece of tie-wire , twist a small loop, and bend the twisted part over to form the hook.
or buy a re-string pack from any tool place...comes with a hook. ahh....what was the question ?

You know on second thought pick up one of the newer geared ones and you will never go back to those--Got one with yellow chauk for when I really need a diff. color. Makes a great backup with the color but I don't use it but once a year.
