Many moons ago I can recall a posting on how to check a level. I’ve found a 6 foot level at a thrift store. There are two vials to check level but they don’t agree. One is a 1/4 bubble off. How do I confirm its accuracy?
The level is yellow and call Master Level. Any warranty?
Thanks,
Martin

Masterlevel? The vials should be adjustable. Put it on a fairly level surface, and note the bubble position. Flip it end for end. Note the bubble position. If the two readings are different, split that difference when adjusting. You might have to do this a few times until the bubble readings come out the same.
Check it for straightness too.
To check the plumb reading, do the same thing, but on a fairly plumb surface. To flip the vial, all you have to do is spin it around 180 on its long axis....if that makes any sense. Remember...flip the vial end for end. Not the body of the level.
*Thanks Tom. Does anyone know the website for the manufacturer? Or phone number?I've done a web search and end up with Dungens and Dragon players who have reached the Master Level. argMartin
*I think "Master" is a house brand; can't remember who, someone like Canadian Tire or Home Hardware.
*MASTERLEVEL. One word. Hope that helps ;-)Tom
