   I'd say there is no standard Ht. Especially if you want to make efficient use of space. However, for a simple run-of-the-mill shelf and pole closet, with lots of wasted space, go with a pole Ht. around 62".

   agreed, I set my rods at 66" . I use 40" & 80" for doubles.

   *what size rod is that? And is it paint grade or clear? Of course, you remember to turn the rod so the rays are dead level.

   *OK Guys, funs over......I installed backing (not gonna tell you at what height)also checked out what the rest of the free world is doing with closet organizers. I will go that route, almost afraid to ask any more questions because of your terrorizing....
