I would think that if there were any real housebuilders at this site, I would have gotten some feedback. I guess we are all armchair wannabes like me.

Evidently you want owners and users, not installers.
I don't own any but have installed some.
In most cases the homowners have liked the Andersens I've installed. The adjustible hinges are a nice fine tuner for the large operating panels.
Pella's, well the most recent one I put it-probably 7 or so yrs ago has had two operators re-installed by Pella Service.
Several young kids in that household, so it gets a heck of a workout I'm sure........but.
No experience with TT or KML.
That should tide you over till an actual owner stops by.

are these the windows/doors that open either at the top or at the side.
I saw some in Canadistan that looked rugged.
These are hinged patio doors. They deadbolt lock top/bottom and the traditional straight throw from the handleset.
