A concrete curb needs to be added to the edge of an existing slab to control water run-off. The plan is to pour alongside and on top of the slab. Rebar stubs will be installed in the edge of the slab for support. The slab has an exposed aggregate finish, but the curb will be a brushed finish. Should a concrete bonding agent be used for this application? If so, is there a chance that the bonding agent will discolor (?) the surrounding existing exposed aggregate?
Thanks, HV
