My house is clad in what I believe is T-111 plywood siding, stained a medium brown. Unfortunately, the former owners covered the house in this in the early 80’s when they added an addition (for a uniform look). The original siding was vertical, random-width, stained cypress.
Anyway, in addition to covering the house in T-111, they ran it too close to the ground and didn’t keep up with the staining–result? I have plenty of rot that I need to address soon.
Saw some copper siding in a Fine Homebuilding mag a few months ago and I thought that seemed interesting–low/no maintenance, durable, unique. I absolutely don’t want vinyl or aluminum siding.
Anyone know of any manufacturers of copper siding or where I could find more information?
Thanks,
