Well that's pretty cool...and only $99. I'd buy it for the little bit I'd use it. Don't think it's an every-day-er, do you?

No, but, thought it might be handy in some instances.
That's what I was thinking. It looks small enough to keep in the 'ol nail apron for blocking and catchers. I am gonna try it. I'll report back. Says it's not available 'till December.

How is that better than a mini palm nailer? The shape of that tool would prevent it being used in places I've used my little $40 Grip Rite.
That little Grip Rite is the schnizzle, can't beat forty bucks.
I have that little grip rite, and tico nails, 16d green sinkers, and esp galv 16s will not fit in the barrel The diameter of the barrel is too small to accept the heads of the nails I need to use the most!
Anyone else have that problem?
All I've driven with mine are joist hanger nails, but they definitely fit.
Big advantage of the Craftsman tool is no air needed.

Please if someone gets this let the rest of us know how well it works. My main fear is that the thing would be too wimpy and would take 15 minutes to drive a nail. Otherwise it sound ideal for many of us DIYers who can't justify the expense of an air gun setup but still occasionally need a gun for tight places, etc.
I nail in alot of wood glazing beads..... gonna check this out. Swinging a hammer next to glass up on a ladder gets old.
This may be just what I need.
Add on another 140 and get the little saw, drill, light, charger and two batteries. The reviews on Sears' site were not wonderful on the drill though. For those who have fought for it Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know.
Found this...

There's a video showing micellaneous people using this tool...No Coffee No Workee!
At first I thought that site was cool but then found it rather non-intuitive and frustrating to get to where I wanted to go. Thanks. Bob
On the other post, your feelings about HF are in line with most (at least the vocal ones) here. For those who have fought for it Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know.
The action seems to be faster than I'd even hoped. Only thing I notice is that the users are having to put a lot of pressure on the thing to get optimal action -- not a big deal, but something that may make the device less than optimal in awkward situations.

...you noticed that, too. Yeah, I still think it's a good idea - no air hose and compressor and whatnot- but I'll let you know how it is if/when I get it.
I, too, am a fan of the air palm nailers. And at $40 it is hard to beat, but if this works any kind of good, it's gonna give it a run for it's money... No Coffee No Workee!
I don't have a compressor, and only occasionally have a situation where a hand-driven nail (or a screw) isn't perfectly adequate to the task. I also have control/strength "issues" when nailing in awkward places. So this device seems ideal to me.

If you do end up buying one, like DanH said - let the rest of us know what you think
