Has anyone done cost comparisons that might shed some light on how much premium is paid for a precast concrete foundation system, versus one formed and poured?
Where I build, a poured foundation goes for about $190 per cubic yard of concrete used. That figure works for one with full 8′ or 9′ depth, basement slab, maybe a half dozen extra corners, an opening or two, and an attached two-car garage with a 4′ frostwall on footers.
