I would like someone to give me a rough estimate of building costs (RI) per square foot. This would be a summer home. Simple in design. Three bedrooms on a slab. Small garage, two baths. Fairly open interior design , about 2000SF. Can someone give me a few pointers on what to expect. Have the land with well in place. Thanks

Without Cadillac finishes and zero landscaping the rough estimate could range from $90 to $120 per sq.ft. here in the Midwest.
Consider a basement. Relative to the slab on grade the upgrade in area w/ the basement is usually worth the extra charge.
