I’ve been searching high and low for a nice set of plans to make a crawl space cover. I seem to remember a nice crawlspace or cellar door set in FH a number of years ago, the double doors were sloped to send rain away from the house, and both doors opened to make it easy to get under there. The best part was they they were very nicely made, and looked like they belonged on a fine home. Most of what I see is either just plywood or metal slapped on there, or else clear plastic. Here in New Mexico, plastic outdoors lasts about 15 minutes before turning to powder. I’ve tried every search term I can think of in Finehomebuilding.com, but can’t find these. Can anyone tell me the issue, or does anyone have a set of plans (or even a photo) of a nice crawlspace cover? Thanks!
