crown moulding

I have some crown to install,but when I checked it against a framing square it read 3.5 in by 3.25 in. What crown angle would that be. And how do I know if iam using 52 or 38 degrees ?

      great site, don`t do alot of crown.

       needed to refresh the grey cells .
