And just two days ago, at my local Lowes, they had one (just one!) of the Bosch worm drive saws. Still in a sealed factory carton.
It was down to $109 when I first saw it -- just as the guy next to me picked it up and put it in his cart.
Yea, I picked up a Skil Mag77 (found one still made in USA - new ones are now made in China...) at Lowes on clearance a while back for $75 + tax.Always looking out for deals means you end up hittin em pretty darn frequently.JT
If anybody is near Jackson, MS, the Ridgeland Home Depot has the new 12" Milwaukee sliding compound miter saw for $499. Normally $699. For some reason, it only seems to be that particular store. The one down here in New Orleans still lists it for $699.
Which Lowes?
These nice deals always seem to be at some store 2000 miles from me.

HD is clearancing Louisville branded ladders (going back to Werner).
If your store still has some, they are better than 50% off now.
Picked up a 40' aluminum for $166.00
Bosch just came out with a digital read out on the table saw. maybe the ones you saw were clearance old style.
-and nothing wrong with that
The digital is not a newer version - just a different configuration.Same saw, and you can buy the digital fence reader separately for about $125 or so I think.Although I could kindof see how it could be handy, I also read somewhere that it has a very short "on" time, and after it shuts off, you have to re-calibrate it to the blade making it a bit less useful for repeated back and forth cutting.Julian
