Currently putting down redwood deck boards..which side should go up? Should the boards be placed with the “growth rings” forming a “u” ie with the lower part down..or vice versa so the growth rings form a “hump”. What I am trying to say is ….should the new growth be on the top or the bottom. Thanks in advance.
