Looking to add a small 4’x4’ bump out and then stairs (coming back towards the house). Deck is 15.5’x15.5’. 2 beams made up of 2 2×10’s with a span of 6 ¾’ between 3 6×6 posts. Joists are 2×8 with a span of 7 ¼’. My question is, I know I need to add posts on the far side of the platform (red dots) but do I need to add two more posts at the yellow dots or can I tie into the Rim joist? Thank you!
