I heard that the best way to clean a wooden deck is with a pressure
washer and a cleaning solution (similiar to peroxide) that fizzles the dirt
(releasing oxygen) out. This solution doesn’t damage the natural wood
perservative unlike the deck cleaners that contains bleach (or something
similar).
Have you heard of this cleaning solution? What is it called? Where do I find it
at in the Chicagoland Area?
Thanks

The cleaner you are asking about is sodium percarbonate, or oxegynated bleach. It does not contain any chlorine bleach.
Stay away from any product with a chlorine based bleach as this will damage the wood. You also don't need to pressure wash if you use a scrub brush on a broom stick to scrub in the cleaner. Just rinse with a good nozzle on a garden hose.
Pressure washing can really tear up the wood if you are not careful.
