I am thinking of incorperating a masonary heater in my turn of the century log cabin restoration/ remodel. The only problem is that the price affixed to a pre built kit doesn’t quite fit into the budget I have, given the pay scale of a carpenter here in Montana. I am thinking of building it myself, but am having a hard time finding any plans for the project.I am also wondering if this would create too much heat(if such a thing exists),for the 22×22 2 story cabin. Any suggestions or leads from anyone out there would be great. Also am thinking of building this stove to have a cook oven in it as well.
