Hello there,
i don’t know exactly if this topic fits in here but would like to ask you what you think of doors and windows with steel frames? Have you had any experience with this?

Don't see the point of it. They'd rust easily, they'd be nearly as heat-conductive as aluminum, and the strength wouldn't be that much greater.
Steel is used for some commercial/institutional windows, I suspect, but they're expected to take more abuse.
I agree with most of what you are saying Dan, except that I almost never see steel used in commercial construction. Everything is aluminum.
I'm pretty sure the windows in my 1955-era elementary school were steel.
Spam, and once again Dan bites.
Spam?
Sir, how do you know the OM is spam? Dan is merely trying to be helpful. If I am missing something please educate me/us.
Certainly Mel, I'm here to help. The OP registered right before he/she/it posted, the grammar in the question is off and he/she/it hasn't been back since then nor asked another question. Many 3rd world spammers come here and post similar stuff. I could be wrong but not usually. Dan answers even the obvious spammers.
