Is it really possible to finish a flat 9ft tall drywall ceiling that has no texture, satin paint and a triple window spanning about 10 ft in the wall to the west and have it look like the hood of a car? Without using plaster.

It is in Northwest Ohio by the right finishers.
But, gloss like a car? When was that in demand?
3 yrs ago we built a house as general contractor and the original specs on the drywall were - "Round brush stomp" , sometime later they reconsidered and wanted a smooth ceiling so it was added (the finisher didn't want to do it but they insisted that's what they want) for .30 sf. It was never specified for a Level 5 finish. Drywall returns on the windows were also added with an additional fee. Our standard practice is the finisher comes back one time to fix anything that needs to be fixed. Today in the unheated garage I finished painting an expansion joint and some Magic corner I installed myself because the finisher didn't want set foot in the house anymore. There is a lot more to the whole story but I am ready to walk away.
It is in SoCal if you want to pay for it
How much more per sq. ft?
If you use "buttboards" while installing the drywall to create the taper on the 4' end of the board, I can mud the ceiling by 1) taping the joints; 2) second coat; 3) third coat with 12" blade almost perpendicular to drywall to achieve smooth finish.
I've been retired for two years and the last job I did with a level 5 was in 2020 so I couldn't tell you what costs are.
But the old saying: If you have to ask how much, you probably can't afford it.
