Hello one and all, and thanks for the help.
I tried a search for this, and came up blank, which I thought was kind of surprising.
Here goes.
So, the dry wall is up – I wiped out and paid somebody to do the taping. They did a great job, which is encouraging, considering the cost.
Now the painting begins.
My question is this: what is the proper pep procedure before priming and painting? There is still a lot of gypsum dust on the walls – the dry wall contractor said I could just paint over it, but that doesn’t seem right. Do I dust, vacuum, wipe with a damp rag, or what? hats the best primer? Should I rent a sprayer? Should I buy one? How about the Grace or Camp bell Hausfeld (spelling?) at Home Depot?
Thanks in advance ….
