I have a few Drywall questions for all you experienced hangers and tapers.
1. For an inside corner, rather than messing with taping and mudding, couldn’t you just score the back of a panel, snap it and then bend it into a 90 degree corner & then attach it to the studs? No muss, no fuss?
2. I want to put drywall adhesive on every stud and top/bottom plate. How much do I need to purchase if using quart tubes?
3. What is the recommended compound for bedding mesh tape if your doing a larger job (1800 sq.ft)? I plan on using light weight Plus 3 for the remaining coats.
Thanks in advance for your help!

To answer your first question, there is no corner so straight and plumb that you could do as you suggested without the front paper tearing. I've never used adhesive, drywall screws properly set and the suggested number will hold the drywall securely even here in earthquake country. I use mesh tape and Plus 3 for everything except inside corners. The one thing I do use is "Butt boards" by Trim-Tex for the untapered ends. Watch the youtube video. After taping and mudding seams I can skim coat a perfect ceiling with only two coats of Plus 3.
