Has anyone have any experience in using a Drywall Sanding Attachment that uses a 5 gal container of water and connects to your existing vacuum say shop vac. The sander uses the sanding screen. The sander is non electric. It appears to have some form of a hood that the vacuum cleaner picks up the dust. Are they any good? Is there more than one make? Would be interested in anyones experience in using this item. Just seen this item in Leichtung Workshops catalog. for 39.99. Thanks larry

I use a 19.00 one I got from a buddy who got it at home depot. they don't sell it any more.
I love it. it takes some getting used to because of the handle and the hose, but the lack of dust everywhere is well worth it.
*Larry - I used the same type that Bill described and paid about the same from a hardware store going out of business. You could adjust the vacuum action by rotating a ball valve on the hose connection. Worked absolutely great - it will be in my estate.Since Depot no longer has it, try Sears or local Ace.
