johnzee | Posted in Tools for Home Building on May 8, 2008 10:48am

Posted last night but can find where it went to unless I go to my email and rchives pops up. Here goes again, looking for a touchup drywall texture gun. Any suppliers or even just the name of the gun.

Thanks

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming

Looks like a great bug sprayer ( mean it in a good way) but with lot's of patches that sprayer would kill me. I have an old Mason sprayer and it's great for 1 or 2 spots otherwise your arms will fall off.

Something along the line of this was what I had in mind but I'm searching for others

There is alot of pumping to keep the preasure consistant. I just want something to plug into a compressor. High ceiling shots and ceiling shots.

Oh well.  But thanks for the response.

This needs to be perfect. Upscale house. Those shaker cans are great for other jobs though!

Yes, I do. Been putting it off for sometime, but now I have to bite the bullet. The house is furnished and looks like it's going on the market.

I had an older version of this gun (originally with manual hand pump) that worked great for 15 years....now I have gone to hopper/gun system with std compressor.

    My bad.

Bought the gun. Spent last Saturday afternoon playing with it. Thought it would be the do all gun. Sorry to say but no, or not yet. Still need to work with it but time is out. The job needs to get done and I played with rattle cans that worked better. Still going to play with the gun, and rebuild the Binks gun I got from a friend. Turns out looking at some pics of that  Binks is a commercial gun with a pot instead of a direct lead to the big. Not sure what to say about the whole story. I coulda bought a nice 2-speed fishing reel for the price of that gun. Dang.
