I am in the process of locating either a drywaller or a plasterer in the Pittsburgh area. I have made numerous calls over the last few weeks to all the numbers that I could find in the phone book. People do not return calls or if they do they says that they are to busy to even look at the job. AND PEOPLE SAY WE ARE IN A RECESSION.
The job is to be done right away
Anyone interested feel free to e-mail me at : [email protected]
Thanks for the help guys…

Give these guys a call....Atlas Wholesale Supply Inc. They are located on Bell Av. in Carnegie. Phone # is 276-8000 or try 276-9200
This Company was a big time distributor of Dryvit products...used to host seminars with local plasterers.....I'm sure they can give you some good referrals.
If not, I know a father/son drywall team and another guy who is 3rd generation plasterer....but these people all reside in Steubenville, Ohio...about 50 minute drive from downtown Burgh; so I doubt they would be interested....like you said...these guys are in demand and stay very busy.
If you can't find anyone...post again, and I'll see what I can do for you.
Just for curiosity sake...how big a job we talking...lots of SF or what?
BTW...WHERE'S JEFF BUCK when you need him? Jeff, where are you...the Burgh is your city, right? Please help the man.

What is DRYVIT?
Thanks turtlboy

It's a modern material for exterior stucco finish over foam.
Excellence is its own reward!
Dryvit is an EIFS(exterior insulation and finishing system) finish. Should never be confused with stucco. Stucco is a finish that "breaths," whereas eifs does not because of the super high acrylic content. These finishes may be interchangeable, but again they may not be which is the reason to never confuse them.

In his first interview since the stroke, Ram Dass, 66, spoke with great difficulty about how his brush with death has changed his ideas about aging, and how the recent loss of two old friends, Timothy Leary and Allen Ginsberg, has convinced him that now, more than ever, is the time to ``Be Here Now.''
