After sealing a leak in his compressor hose with above mentioned material, I heard a roofer say: ” I would lend my wife to the guy who invented duct tape”. I would’nt go that far, but duct tape and wire have saved my butt more than a few times.

And not only yours. A group of parents was talking about kids with the nasty habit of removing diapers while sleeping, etc. More than a few would secure them with a wrap or two of duct tape.
*Are you guys related to Red Green? ;o)
*As a home inspector, I love duct tape: it's a great tip to look closely for other screwed up home-owner "repairs" and "improvements." (It's amazing how many P-traps ahev been "repaired" with it!)I use it a lot, but only for temporary (it's not even very good for sealing ducts for more than a limited period of time!)
*" there are very few childcare problems that can't be solved with duct tape"For 500$ and a vacation for two name character who said it.T
*Vacation to where? For two? Do I have to take my wife? Can I bring fishing rods?
*Isn't that from Doonesbury? I can't remember which character said it, though.
*Sounds like MacGyver, to me. But it was Groucho Marx.
*Tim Allen?
*If the women don't find you handsome at least they can find you handy!
*Duct Tape
*I did some work at a duct tape factory. They run a large roll of fabric through this machine that coats one side with plastic, and the other with adhesive. Then they unroll/reroll this big roll onto other rolls of known lengths, and then cut these into 2" chunks to sell to us goofs. The point of this story is that before they start to prepare the tape for sale, they have a roll of duct tape that is 8 feet wide and about 2 miles long! Imagine what we could fix with a roll that big. I think we rebuild Afghanistan with it. Maybe cure cancer or fix peace in the Middle East. Think big.Peace.-Rob
*Do only Canada and U.S have duct tape? Didn't want to pack back a 1/2 roll I took to England (for repair as needed purposes) and the co-worker living there for a year that I gave it to acted like it was gold.
*Robert, sounds like you could use that to keep california from falling into the pacific ocean. As far as I know it was Duke from DoonesburyContact Andy for details about your prize.T
*> ........a roll of duct tape that is 8 feet wide .....Could use it instead of 15# roof felt. Would be awful hard geting that roll up the ladder, though.
*8 foot roll of duct tape; one swipe around the bottom of the truck and up over the ladder racks. Dry and tight.
*More than you ever wanted to know about duct tape:http://www.octanecreative.com/ducttape/index.html
*I wonder if you could use an 8' roll of duct tape instead of tyvek ?Sticks in place by itself, so no staples.
*Think of the practical jokes you could play with an 8 ft. roll of duct tape. You could seal somebody in the porta johnny for one.
*i " there are very few childcare problems that can't be solved with duct tape" Yes, but when you try, you run into Red Tape.
*...Maybe we could group purcase a run of this 8' run of tape, depending on price!!!......I'm in for 50 ft... What's that weigh???......Consultant for Red Green (and Homer Simson)......Newf...
*On TV last night, some gator hunters in Florida duct taping the gators mouth shut before hauling him into the boat. I think I will try to keep gators outta my boat.
*Put me down for 50'Maybe I'll but a couple of rolls, and give them as Christmas presents next year..........
