Dumb Hitachi framing nailer question
Just got a Hitachi NR83A2 framing nailer from eBay. I never shop for tools there much but a pawn shop in Texas had one almost new and I got it for $210. No instructions came with it.
As far as I can tell, there is supposed to be a tool-free depth of drive adjustment on this puppy. All I see are a few socket-head screws, nothing that looks like you could adjust it by hand (aside from the trigger action setting… bump v. sequential). Anyone got a clue for me?

I just check the hitachi website, I've got an older nr83a. I knew they had a few different ones out with very similar model numbers. The first link shows where the depth adj would be, in the front of the nose. The second shows two different guns, Nr83a2 and nr83a2(s), the s one does not have the depth adjustment, so that could be your answer.
