Electric conduit thru garage wall quest.

I need to get a 14/3/G NM cable from the basement into the attic, via an interior garage wall. The problem is that I can’t get to the top of the wall in the attic, so running it inside the wall cavity is not practical. Is is acceptable to use 1/2″ EMT inside the garage (from basement, through the rim joist and sheetrock, pull elbow or LB, against wall in garage and through ceiliing, with NM fittings both ends), or is there a problem with the fire rating of the wall and ceiling (IBC used here)?
Be seeing you…

3/4 EMT and LB's would be easier. Fire caulk where the conduit passes thru the rock. Put a pull bushing on the terminal ends of your stubs.
