At home I’ve notice lights flickering for two or three seconds. Recently all electricity would shut off (watching tv for instance) and almost immediately go back on. Breakers aren’t tripping. It seems to be a whole house phenomenon. Any welcome ideas?

main line to the house is failing and wires are losing contact when the wind blows - typically utility company is responsible for the line from the pole to your drop (where it connects to the house), you're responsible from the drop to the meter and then inside
problem in the main in the panel, maybe water issue if the weatherhead failed - your "problem"
either way, get someone to check it out - utility company on the outside - electrician on the inside
not something to wait on
good luck
Thanks, Got Edison out here and found burnt wires outside. Fixed!
thanks for the update - nice to know you got the problem resolved
pretty good getting the utility out the same day!
my aunt had same issue, I visited her, she said did you see that? they wont believe me. it was windy, lines went thru a tree. I told her to call and say she was afraid of a fire, utility came next am and fixed it.
