The electrical hookup is only one part of the equation; when installing a hot tub, there are a number of key requirements to keep in mind.

I am.
It went norm of me. And CAG is just a little fair that unless the whole town blew away that with the local damage it would be burried.
But I then that it was all SW of him.
BTW, saw lost of pictures of barefoundations if anyone is looking to build a house.
I actually thought about you last night, was wondering if it came down on you, from what I heard it was northern KC area thought you were around there.
Glad all is well.Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark, Professional build the Titanic.
So do you guys have underground shelters you can dive into when those things touch down?
Man, I would have a hard time sleeping at night If I had to worry about twisters all the time.Bob

My shop is under my garage. So I have plently on concrete in all directions.
In my case that is because it is on a hillside. But FEMA does have out some design info for tornado resistant storm units.
Bob,
No shelter, I live in an apartment.
Basically if a tornado touches down I am f'd lol

No, I am east of KC on I-70, next to Blue Springs.
I was over in the high rent district (Johnson County) yesterday looking at the Midwest Living Magazines Show house of the year.
The main reason that I went was was because it was suppose to be craftsman style. I am interested in that and what to add some details to my house.
Actually, accept for the few details slapped on the facade, wide flat interior trim (but painted), and some nice details on the newel posts it was just a Mac-mansion.
And a poorly done won at that. At $795,000 you would think that they could find a couple of people that knew how to swing a hammer. Walking up to the front door you could count the number of shiners from 20 ft away. Also they should have spent more than $7.89 for bathfans. I have seen jetliners that where quieter.
It had 4, count them FOUR, "fireplaces". Now fireplaces where a hallmark Craftsman/Parier/Mission/ Arts&Craft homes. But the "fireplaces" in this house where just gas heaters stuck on the wall with a glass over it and pretend surrounds. It is as much a remired of a fireplace as a VW Bug is a reminder of a LeMans racing car.

A few years ago they did a REAL modern Craftsman. Actually had in a $20,000 orginal Stickly table. It was neet.

All's well here, I was out of town, delayed plane back in but that's all.
I was listening to the radio on the way from KC back to lawrence, sounded horrible lots of damage.

Glad you guys are OK.
I live in Topeka and work in Lawrence, and was watching the Weather Channel at noon yesterday. The Severe Weather expert said it "could be the worst day of tornados, EVER."
So I went out and played golf...LOL.
I actually did play from 1:30 to about 5:00, and thankfully the storm missed Topeka.
It was clearly a hairy one, one young woman from North Kansas City was on TV with a little dog, saying "One minute we were under the stairs, and the next we could see daylight."
Today, her picture was on the front page of the of the Topeka Capital-Journal (see http://www.cjonline.com/images/050503/4644_512.jpg) and it's easy to see why they could see daylight.
