I had a new roof put on in 97.  Used a cement shake called FireFree. Now close to 30% of the shakes are cracked.  I find that there was  a class action suite decided against them in Jan 2001 and $18 million is allocated in the bankruptcy to claimants.  considering there are several thousand, I may get $500!!

My question:  Is there anything I can do to extend the life of this fiasco.  I do not have any leaks yet.  I was thinking of using a cement caulk like is used for concrete cracks.  Will look like hell.
