I have a Taylor Steel door with aluminum threshold installed in my basement at the bottom of the bulkhead stairs. I installed the door 30+ years ago and had to have it made to a custom height due to the location of plumbing waste pipe. I ordered the door from a local (now-out-of-business) company.
The threshold has 3 sets of screws. The screws in each set are about 1 inch apart. One set toward each end of the threshold and one set in the middle of the threshold. I will be replacing the sweep on the bottom of the door and wanted to adjust the threshold. I contacted Taylor and they don’t have a threshold with this type of screw configuration and told me that the company I ordered the door from probably installed it.
I have searched the net and haven’t found this threshold screw configuration.
Anybody know how these screws work? My only other option would be to remove the threshold for a look-see.
Thank You

A photo might help.
Here are some pictures. Click on the first one to enlarge it to see the entire threshold.
Yes, without having a pic of the screws and place of repair it's difficult to find a solution.

If it like the above, the smaller diameter screw head would be a height adjustment, and the larger head countersunk screw to secure after adjustment.
If you want to adjust the height, remove the larger screws, and adjust the smaller ones.
then replace the larger diameter flat head screws (perhaps with new ones)
Thank you. That looks like it. Now just need to figure out which way to turn the adjustment screws. I looked on the company web site but didn't see any installation instructions. I'll either call customer service or do the old trial and error method.
