I’m having my house painted with latex (Pittsbugh Speedhide) and the painting crew has for whatever reason taken six weeks (blowing an extended Indian summer) to get about a third done.
Now the weather has turned and we will have highs around fifty and lows in the upper twenties. I’m worried the paint won’t last if applied during this weather.
Is this a problem?

It's far from ideal. I would talk to the manufacturers of all products they are going to apply for their temperature guidelines. Paint cures very slowly in cold weather.
I too am in the same situation. scraping, priming, & painting facia & soffits. Warm days are ideal. I also am using ppg paint. The seal grip primer that I'm using says to apply the product only when the product, air temp and surface are 35 degrees or above. Tbest thing to doo would be to read the back of the can. I'm using sealgrip (tinted) primer and mahnor hall finish paint, and am confident I will have no problems as long as the temp is above 35. Also this scinerio cuts the days shorter, because in western pa? you either have condensation, dew, or frost on everything.

It depends on how they approach it and work around the temps.
I fought this for years doing it and its just a schedule to stay with in cold weather months.
Prep work all before 10am . 10am to 3pm do the painting and shut down the job after . That leaves at least 2 hours for the paint to dry if conditions are good. If they are woresened by over cast weather then its a slow go sometimes only working a few hours a day. Jobs may be left for days on end in nasty weather . Normally a painter will use Saturdays and Sundays to try to stay on schedule if they are pretty weather. Ive painted on Christmas day .
If they are using a work schedule like the above you need not worry. If they are painting first thing in the morning or till 5pm then you have reason for concern and should voice your griefs. 40 degrees and getting warmer is mine or quit 2 hrs before a low of 40 is expected. Actually there are a few hours of darkness in the evening before the dew or frost that is even drying especially if theres a breeze.
I kept a mobile scanner in the truck to monitor weather all through the day. Weather stations keep you updated 24&7 over and over in up to date broadcasts giving all the information . Mine also gives wind speed and humidity each hour at the top of the hour along with other readings. Those readings grouped together will navigate a day of painting or drywall finishing .

Thanks, Tim--very timely. We're trying to get the new house finished, and one thing that's lacking is getting the Hardi-plank painted.
Figure your schedule will work around Greers Ferry lake, too.
