I bought a house last year. I have an exterior alum. clad Patio Door. The door is warped from the deadbolt to the top of the door. The house was originally constructed in 1985. Have a couple of problems:
Cannot locate a trade mark of manufacturer. It has insulated glass and stamped on the metal between the glass is ADW-1 ALI 98-1. The hinges are stamped Lawrence with a B in a square. Any suggestions as to manufacturer? Any suggestions short of replacement to correct the warp? I live in the Northeast.
Previous owner cannot be located.

All I can tell you is the hinges won't help. Lawrence is a hinge company, not a door maker.
It's probably a low-end door at the end of it's usable life. I'd replace it with something nice, but I'm sure you've considered that.
Good luck with it,

Thanks for the info.
You might check with some glass business, but that code is probably from the company that made the glass pannel. And that might or might not lead you to a company that made the door.
But I am wondering with " ADW-1 ALI 98-1" if that is a date code that indicates that it was replaced in 1998. Now if it was from the door manufacture under waranty that might lead you somewhere. But if it was a 3rd party replacement unit then it is meaningless.
Thanks for the input.
Wood doors generally warp in at the top during the heating season, see what it looks like in August.
Look on the topof the operaTING panel. Alot of door companies put a stamp there.
