I have a job where I need to build one wall to enclose a 3.5-walled garage. I know it sounds odd, but if you open the garage door the opposite wall is only a 6-ft high brick wall with a walk through opening. There are four 4×4 posts with lattice on top of the wall now.
I’ve been asked to build a 2x wall on top of the brick and put an exterior door in the opening. I was going to take advantage of the posts by framing 4 separare small walls from 2×4’s and shove them into the current openings. Then sheathe it with OSB and nail on Hardiplank.
Question: What type fasteners can I drill through the bottom plate and into the brick, so that I can build the small walls on the floor and then slide them in as one unit? I know I could get epoxy anchors and set them with bolts, but I’d rather not have to build it all standing up it place.
Since the posts will probably remain as the most solidly set piece of the wall, I thought I might just liquid nail the hell out of it onto the brick.
Suggestions appreciated.

What really pisses me off is that the better my finish carpentry skills get the less anyone seems to notice.

Tapcons, and hammer drill. I wonder if you could use an actuated gun, but Im not sure if it would blast the brick.
If you are talking about the part above the brick, I think I would plate it with pressure treat, and the moisture pad like a stud wall.
Or maybe you need to drill large holes with a rented hammer and epoxy the bolts, like a stud wall.
some sort of flash on the outside might help too.

I second the tapcon advice. Drill the brick, not the mortar
