Saw a show where Joanne Lieberman was residing the exterior of a house using brick panels (‘sorta’ like vinyl siding) using just a saw & nails. The final job looked good, went fast & easy on TV. Thought the product was “Duro brick” but can’t find anything about it, nor the show. Anybody out there familiar with such a product and if so, your pro’s & con’s on the it?

I haven't seen it, but keep in mind that the resolution of TV pictures is pretty low - something can look good on TV that looks pretty crummy seen directlt.
Albert Einstein said it best:
“Problems,” he said, “cannot be solved at the same level of consciousness that created them.”
Your mileage may vary ....
I'm not familiar with those panels, but I have used "Z-Brick".
Z-Brick is real brick that is only about 1/4 inch thick. It was used rather extensively in the 70's, to give that 'Brady Bunch' look to house interiors.
Putting the stuff up is a lot like doing a ceramic tile job. Spread the mortar, place the brick tiles. Wait a day, then grout with more mortar, using a pointing tool.
I can't think of a reason that it could not be an exterior material, but check with the manufacturer first.
Z-Brick is available as a special order, from Ace hardware stores (to which I have no connection).
I think that may be JoAnne Liebeler ? http://www.hometime.com/TV/pastshow/pastshows/1992/habit.htm
There are several products that match the description given, like Genstone. http://www.gensteel.com/genstoneproducts/faq.cfm
