Hey Paul
Instead of the smaltz, why not buy an advertisement?
To those of us that have been on here since damn near itās beginning, your spam isnāt funny nor welcome.
Hi Calvin,
I appreciate your feedback and understand your concern. My goal was to join the discussion and contribute insights about homebuilding and restoration, not to come across as overly promotional or intrusive. I realize now that the tone of my post might not align with the community's expectations.
I value the knowledge and experience shared in this space and want to participate in a way that's meaningful and respectful. If thereās a better way for me to contribute or engage with this community, Iād be happy to adjust.
Well, my apologies.
Donāt advertise and discus with readers.

If someone were to ask for qualifying proof you know what you are talking aboutā¦ā¦well then maybe invite them to take a look.
This from a geezer thatās been on this forum since the late 90ās and potentially doesnāt know what the hell heās talking about.
I've been an avid FHB subscriber for a few decades. Been on this forum for a big part of that time.
Almost all posts to this forum are ASKING for help for a specific problem or input on a potential project. What you will find is mostly responses to those posts. Perhaps there may be a tidbit of knowledge to be gleaned from that. Occasionally there are posts with tips.
But one has to be careful not to use this forum for soliciting clients. It pisses some folks off. And one can often appear to be a troll.
@Paul_HomeRestore - If you're looking to learn more about solutions to unique challenges, I suggest that you follow the forum and tag those posts that seem likely to elicit creative solutions. That way you'll get notifications of responses - that's where you'll find the "exchanging ideas and learning from all the expertise here."
