I have a friend with a house that has a nearly flat roof (1/4″ per foot or less slope) with an existing rolled roof that is only 5 years old. Ice dams on the roof have eventually found their way inside. He just remodeled the place and doesn’t want to rip the ceiling down to vent the roof the way it should be. So we came up with stripping the old rolled roofing and placing “Lo-Slope” roofing over the existing plywood. I’d like to wrap the roofing around the edge of the deck onto the fascia with a piece of half-round and finish with a piece of trim. Any other ideas?
