Hello, I am trying to find a DIY solution to a slightly bowed concrete block foundation. I had a foundation guy there and he said I was unable to use the wall anchor system that goes into the soil because of the proximity of the neighbor. But he did have another system that would cost me $3100. Is there a system that can be sold to me directly? Is there a low tech solution? I am trying to sell my home so I need to make the buyer feel super confident with my solution.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
David Brown

There is a simple low tech system.
It is I-beams that go from a pocket in the floor to bracing attached to the joist.
But you will need to get an engineer to spec it.
JLC has an article on it about 3-4 years ago.

Then Research and look it up.
They charge a few bucks for the articles.
Remove the wall and replace, with rebar and concrete in every 2nd/3rd core. Backfill with pea gravel.

you must be very close to your neighbor for them not to be able to install the anchors.
I have them in my walls and I think the rods are 9'-0 long if I am not mistaken.
What was the other method the foundation contractor suggested?
