I’m doing a remodel that requires I use PT framing around an exterior door (reframing a door that was cut into the stepped foundation and no sills were ever attached so trimmers are right up against the foundation profile), and it dawned on me, I will need Galvanized or SS drywall screws…but do they even exist??
You guys ever run into this?

You could use stainless deck screws, no problem. Screws with nibs under the heads don't go thru drywall paper quite as nicely as drywall screws, but they do work fine and you can probably get all of yours under the door casing anyway.
There are plenty of electro galv bugle heads out there too.
Can you isolate the trimmers from contact with the concrete? Lead, alum., galv. flashing behind regular 2x trimmers, or maybe even a double layer of 20# felt.
Run it by your inspector.
The new ACQ stuff is wicked on anything but stainless steel fasteners.

OH.... well I get it, You want the dw screws to actually Install DW, I had a post about how you don't use DW screws for installting a door.... but it seems I'm the idiot that missed the point.
I would think regular SS screws or HD Galv would work fine.

You could use ceramic coated Deckmaster screws. Cheaper than stainless, and easier to find in various lengths.
What about using borate treated lumber instead of ACQ lumber??? That way you circumvent the whole need to use specially treated fastners??? Of course, you most likely would have to special order it.

That's the tan colored PT lumber, correct? My understanding is that was not for any ground contact, including concrete?
The borate is water soluable so borate treated wood is not supposed to be used in water exposure conditions ( what I take as decks, posts in the ground, etc.). Does concrete have enough moisture in it to leach the borate out of the wood?? I really dont know.
Here's a web site that says borate treated wood can be used for sill plates (http://www.durable-wood.com/faqs/t_general.php). I cant vouch for this web page though, know nothing about it.
Hopefully someone else will be more helpful. Might be a good question to post to breaktime, especially with what might be big problems with ACQ and fasteners.
Sorry I couldnt be of more help
