I will be residing a large house this year with TruExterior (Boral) siding and trim.  The Manufacturer recommends either galvanized or stainless steel nails.  Ideally, I would like to use stainless steel nails, but I have a little concern regarding how well the paint will adhere to the nails. I have been told that paint will adhere to galvanized nails better and to go with double hot dipped nails. The house is not located near salt water.

Any advice on what the best nail choice would be for this project would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks
