I was just browsing a tool site where I saw a great price on a Hitachi gas powered framing nailer #NR90GR at $245.87 Canadian. It is a refurbished model so that’s why it’s so cheap. Basically I’d like to know how any of you guys have thoughts on these gas powered framing nailers. I’ve read on here before about a person cannot go wrong with an Hitachi nailer but those are the air powered type.
P.S. This very same framing nailer is reduced to $499.99 brand new at a local tool store.

I bought a hitachi gas powered full head framer based on Deiselpig's recommendation. I paid $215 with a two pack gas cartidge. I've had it for about a month now. I'm very happy with it. I do a lot of smaller repair work and punch list stuff, so it works great for me. I would recommend it. I haven't used it all day full out, but that's not really what's intended to do.
