Client wants to convert raised panel upper cabinet doors to glass fronts. No problem from the woodworking perspective, I can handle that. If she goes with beveled glass, I assume it will have to be extra thick to allow for the bevel. Will the weight be a problem? If it is not beveled, can single strngth glass be used, or is that too thin?
Do it right, or do it twice.

If its standard doors (ie under 21" wide and 42 high) then no problem. measure for 1/8 clearance around the edges and install with clear clauk.
Talked with a large local glass co today...they said 1/8" for the plain glass, $4.20/sf, and 3/16" for the bevel, $4.42/sf + $0.30/inch for 3/4" bevel.Do it right, or do it twice.
