CA 9.5 seems intuitive and fully featured..so…..push me over the edge,convince me,

Skim-coating with joint compound covers texture, renews old drywall and plaster, and leaves smooth surfaces ready to paint.

You ought to get the the demo software first. I got it and changed my mind about buying the software. It is good but it is still limited in what it can do.
I have Chief 8.0 and unless there are some "MAJOR" upgrades to Chief 9.5 I would be hesitant to upgrade or invest in the program. I agree, get the demo and test and see if it does what you need it to do.

Yes, there ARE some MAJOR upgrades! Like night & day betw. v8 & v9.5

My new SP12 is pretty exciting so I'm gald they didn'tstand still.
I never have dislike Chief, just thought it was a stepbelow SP. Now though, the trim options make it a good tool.
