A lady called and inquired about adding an addition on the back of her house. I went over and gave her a ballpark and she said no problem. We started talking specs and she said to add painting the whole house. She wanted to see green samples because she heard it was all the rage. I bit through the inside of my lip to keep from laughing.

Puts a whole new levell of meaning on "green building"...
Makes more sense than most of the "green" building ideas.
Good one.
You have better self-control than I do.
IF you like to paint - get her every green paint sample you can find -- she will pick one. Paint house. Get paid.
You will get to repaint house when she figures out what green building really is -- plead ignorance if the topic comes up.
If you don't like to paint - break it to her gently - a copy of a magazine with a pertinent article on green building "accidently" left where she will find it might work. Leave magazine while building addition, before any paint color selection starts.

Never underestimate the value of a sharp pencil or good light.
I did gently educate her that green building is a process not a color choice. I wanted to laugh so bad!
