Doesn't foam, but it sticks so hard that I have trouble peeling it off the roll, if I haven't had my Wheaties (Of course, I'm only a girl, & an old one at that...)
Seriously, it has superior adhesive, much stickier & longer lasting that duct tape.
I used it to repair the back door, until I can replace it - full, baking southern exposure, no stormdoor.
Also for sealing the soda cans with 15 pennies that I use for the voice of doom in dog training.
Too expensive for ordinary, disposable use, but great for holding in the headlight on my car...
I use it often on cars. I work as a automotive bodyman and it comes very handy when I have to repair vapor barriers inside car doors. The regular grey stuff doesn't always adhere well to some foam based products, but the gorilla tape does the trick.

sawduster,
Duh!
Why adhering lithe , young , blond , heroines to my side while I swing from building to building.
Definitely worth the price.
Then of course the only thing foaming is the jealous boyfriend.
