Even though we are all drooling over the new Lithium Ion combos, if you had to buy something today in a hurry – this is a great deal.

Home Depot in the Detroit area is selling the Milwaukee 18 volt 5 pack combo that includes the hammer drill / circ saw / recip-hatchet saw / flashlight / + radio +++ an extra 3rd battery for $399. They have some kits that are 4 piece and had an expired rebate for the extra radio and battery at the same price. Look/call around to specifically get the kit that has the radio and battery in the box.

Was $499 or $549. Personally, if I was getting into a new combo these days, I’d probably get the Makita Ion, but this deal would definitely make me look instead at the MW 18volt system.
