I have just been given a Grizzly wood shaper, Model G1024. ANyone familar with this machine?
Unfortunately, the manual is missing.
Anyone have one I could copy?
Secondly, there is some rust on the work table. I would appreciate any tips that have worked for you in cleaning up a tool table. Thank you.

Jerry, contact Grizzly for the manual, this would be of benefit if there's a recall, or upgrade in the future.
Wirebrush, steel wool, emory paper on a block.
There's a decent tabletop rust preventer available through most woodworking supply houses. An aerosol spray, Bostick "Top Coat"
and it works. Same company makes a blade/bit coating spray as well. Avoid WD40 and the like.
*Jerry,Naval jelly works well on the rust. It's very caustic so use gloves and don't leave it on too long. Then a quick rinse and polish it up with the emory cloth on a block of wood , as George suggests. If Grizzly has a website why don't you email them and ask for a copy of the manual?Richard
