What’s the best sealer? I’m interested mostly in longevity. Would like to hear from pros who’ve seen long term results. Thanks

What do you expect the sealer to do?
what do you mean by long term? i read it as you are looking for a sealer you put on once and presto...no more sealing for the next decade.
All the sealers i have used range in re application time but we usually try and seal our bathrooms once a year.
Use epoxy grout. Then you won't need a sealer.
Already grouted with sanded grout. Trying to avoid the black stuff that grows in the grout eventually and to have it last a long time.
may have to modify your expectations
If you were truely "interested mostly in longevity", then you would have researched this question before you grouted-- and not after. You've effectively limited your options at this point. Also, there are other factors that can have an effect on mold or mildew in your shower besides how well your grout or sealers perform. For instance, water proofing membrane methods (traditional mud set membrane vs. surface water proofing membrane), proper drainage, and adequate ventilation all can play a role seperate from grout. They should have been researched before hand as well.
At any rate, I believe your options now are limited to a variety of penetrating sealers that probably have to be rejuvanated periodically. Also, you should be aware that a penetrting sealer may adversely effect the finish or look of your finish material that is grouted.
