The grout around my white subway tile in the bathroom is yellowing. It is only 10 months old. It is not in a shower are just a tub one but goes all the way up the wall! Why is this happening and how can I get it white again? Thanks!

What have you been washing the tile with?
Remodeling Contractor just outside the Glass City.

I haven't really been wahing it. It is in my baby's bathroom so we don't get the tile dirty. My husband thought it might be discolored from light. It actually seems to be lighter down around the tub, where I do wash with Soft Scrub.
It might be mildew. Not all mildews are black. Does it go away with a few minutes soaking with a mild bleach solution?
I haven't tried bleach yet b/c I didn't know if that would be okay to use on the grout.
It's fine occasionally. Doesn't need to be too strong, just let it sit a little while.
was the grout sealed after it was installed?
No, it wasn't sealed, but the only thing that has been on it is water, and not much since we only bath the little baby in it.
